Our approach

How journey mapping works with Onivio.

Total duration: 3 to 6 weeks
1Precise scoping

Together we define the scope: which journeys (recruitment, onboarding, development, mobility, offboarding), which employee profiles and which HR objectives. This step keeps the mapping focused on your real challenges.

2Detailed analysis

We combine the qualitative and HR data: employee and manager interviews by video, verbatims, eNPS/quality-of-work-life, and turnover and absenteeism data. The aim: to move from internal assumptions to a faithful reading of lived reality.

3Visual mapping

We produce a clear, shareable map: every stage, emotion and interaction, with moments of truth and pain points highlighted. A document all your HR and manager teams can make their own.

4Prioritisation & readout

We facilitate a co-build workshop with your teams to prioritise actions and shape a roadmap. You leave with sequenced HR workstreams, not just a document.

Frequently asked questions.

What is an employee journey map?

It is the visual representation of every stage, emotion and interaction an employee experiences throughout their relationship with the company — from recruitment to offboarding. It surfaces moments of truth, pain points and levers of engagement.

Why map the employee journey?

Because it gives you a shared, big-picture view of what your people actually live, where isolated data (eNPS, turnover, absenteeism) cannot tell you where or why engagement deteriorates. It aligns HR, managers and leadership, surfaces the priority pain points and directs investment.

What is the difference between the EX Audit and the Employee Journey Map?

The EX Audit includes a summary journey map as a diagnostic tool. The Employee Journey Map goes further: a complete map, co-built with your HR and manager teams, with a readout workshop and a detailed roadmap.

Which journeys can be mapped?

Recruitment, onboarding, development and upskilling, internal mobility, and offboarding. We prioritise with you the most impactful journeys given your context (turnover, disengagement, transformation).

How does journey mapping work with Onivio?

In four steps: precise scoping (scope, priority journeys, HR objectives), detailed analysis (employee and manager interviews by video, HR data), visual mapping (shareable map, moments of truth, pain points), then prioritisation and a readout workshop. Total duration: 3 to 6 weeks.

How long does an employee journey mapping take?

Between 3 and 6 weeks depending on the number of journeys and segments to map. That timeline includes scoping, interviews, analysis, producing the map and the readout workshop.

What deliverables will I receive?

A visual, shareable employee journey map, the HR moments of truth prioritised by impact, a cross-referenced analysis of interviews and HR data, prioritised recommendations by effort and impact, and a half-day readout workshop to co-build the roadmap.

How much does an employee journey mapping cost?

From €9,000 excl. VAT. The upper range applies to multi-journey or multi-entity mapping. A precise quote is drawn up after an initial scoping conversation.

Do I need to have run an EX Audit before a mapping?

Not necessarily. But the EX Audit helps identify the most critical journeys and prioritise the mapping on what matters most. The Diagnostic offer combines the two in a structured programme.

Do you work remotely or on site?

Onivio is remote-first: interviews and workshops take place by video. If you would like an on-site readout workshop at your premises, that is possible on request.
